Australian novelist, Emma Chapman has debuted a subtle thriller titled HOW TO BE A GOOD WIFE. It's a portrait of a woman whose mind is playing tricks. Is she delusional? Is she mentally ill?
Is she just a whiny pain in the butt?
I have almost completed HOW TO BE A GOOD WIFE and I'm not sure if I really care if she's delusional or not. Several blog readers have recommended this book and reviews have all been favorable.
The writing is fluid and engaging, so I'll stick with it to the end. The underlying thread of tension holds my attention. The Scandanavian setting is a plus but overall...just fair and a little creepy.
